  • We serve a hot breakfast to order- let us know if you have any allergies  or dietary preferences before your arrive and we will do our best to accommodate. Breakfast options vary on weekdays and weekends.

  • One parking space per named room reservation- more town parking is found a short walk to Union Square which provides ParkMobile App for convenient paid parking. (One vehicle per Maris and Tiernan) 
  • We offer shared areas to relax including our sunny reception area,  the parlor living room with a TV, dining room, rooftop deck and the patio when not reserved otherwise. Select hours of common area spaces may not apply due to events taking place.
  • Guest Wi-Fi included (password protected) throughout the Inn.
  • Each room is unique and deserves your careful consideration when you book your reservation. Rooms vary in size, bed size, bathroom accommodation, lower level to third floor, may or may not have a TV and/or a fireplace or refrigerator. Read each room description for details and feel free to call us with any questions.
  • Group Rentals for the entire house are subject to their own guidelines and cancellation policies.  We can offer you the guidelines at your request and upon reserveration.  Give us a call to review event options, considerations and pricing.  Olivia’s Does Not Block Rooms without a Group House Rental and financial commitment to the reservation.

Breakfast begins daily at 8am and ends daily at 11am. For guests checking out last seating is at 10:30am.

  • Check-In is 3pm to 6pm- You will receive a text message before your arrival. At this time if you realize you cannot make the 3-6pm window you must call us for a late check in. Charges may apply for $50 per hour after 6pm since we will need to staff accordingly.
  • Early check-in is an option whenever possible. While we cannot guarantee your room will be ready early, you can still arrive early, check in and we can get you your parking pass. When parking allows we can accommodate early parking.
  • Check-out promptly at 11am.  If you need a late check-out Innkeeper will let you know if this is possible. Any late check-out is $100 extra towards your rate and requires a 1pm check-out.
  • In most cases we can allow you to leave your car parked until three 3pm once you have checked out. Just speak to the manager on duty during your stay to be sure we can accommodate.

  • We HIGHLY recommend you book dinner reservations before you come to stay and check out restaurant hours and days of operation.

Before your stay or while you are booking your reservation, please note or email us of any dietary needs you have so we can prepare for your breakfasts.  This allows us to shop for your need and to provide the best experience.  Letting us know at breakfast may not allow for your best experience based on what we have.

Yes, we have two rooms that offer two beds. The Maris, on the third floor, is a two-room suite with a shared bathroom accessed from the main bedroom. 

The Tiernan, on our lower level, has a queen-sized bed and a full-sized bed in a large bedroom and a shared luxury bathroom.

Both of these rooms can accommodate up to 4 guests and charge $25 per kid 9-15 and $50 per person 16-adult. (The standard room rate includes 2 occupants)

We offer one Handicapped parking spot- Please let us know in advance if you need this reserved. The first floor bedroom, The Beaumont, offers a walk-in shower.  Please call us if you have questions and we will give you the best understanding of it’s layout.

Our historic home offers eight rooms. We ask that you keep this in mind when you are booking your stay. Cancellations affect our costs and the ability to fill our eight-room house. Once you book your room, we specifically hold this room for you. This room is then off limits to other inquiring guests. We staff and supply our home for your stay. We also incur fees on your deposit and cancellation. Each guest room is unique and guests reserve specific rooms to meets their needs. Please review the room specifications carefully and be sure to call us before you book if there are specific needs you need clarification on.

If you cancel your reservation more than 14 days prior to your stay for any reason, we will refund your deposit less $25 per room per night. 

There are no cancellation refunds or  reservation alterations permitted on holiday dates. See our FAQ holiday dates for 2023.

If you book your stay within 14 days and cancel, or cancel any reservation within 14 days of your stay for any reason, there is no refund of your 50% deposit. Reservations within 14 days of stay cannot be shortened.

If you cancel within three days of the reservation, you are responsible for the full amount of your stay.  2-night required stays cannot be shortened. 

If you need to change your reservation date we allow a one time change to a new date if you notify us via email two days or more before your stay.  Reservation balance must be paid at time of move and no further refunds are allowed.  Reservation requires a minimum of the days reserved in the first reservation and there is no refund for shorter dates. Same day cancellations are prohibited and do not qualify for a one time change.

(Travel insurance or Travel protection may offer financial protection for illness and other coverable reasons for cancellation that insurance covers. We recommend you opt for this type of coverage to protect your travel investment)

 

  • Holidays and Festival Dates require full reservation payment up front and no cancellation refunds for any reason. Be sure to carry Travel Protection or Travel Insurance which may reimburse your cancellation. Minimum night requirements cannot be reduced or changed.
  • Feb: Valentine’s Day- 2-night minimum for weekends before and after Valentine’s Day: 2/10, 11, 12 or 2/17, 18, 19  Feb 14, actual Valentines Day is a regular rate one night stay
  • Memorial Day Weekend 3-night minimum: 3/26, 3/27, 3/28 
  • Shadfest- 2-night minimum :4/21, 4/22, 4/23
  • Gay Pride Weekend- 2-night minimum: 5/19,20, 21 
  • Labor Day Weekend 3-night minimum: 9/1,9/2,9/3
  • Thanksgiving- 2-night minimum: 11/24, 11/25, 11/26 
  • Christmas- 2-night minimum: 12/23, 12/24, 12/25 
  • New Years- 2 night minimum: 12/30, 12/31, 1/1

While we adore pets, our historic home is unable to accommodate animals. A local pet kennel is found about one mile from Lambertville, NJ, just across the bridge, called Pierson Creek Kennels. You can call them at 609-397-5783 or check out their website at piersoncreekkennels.com for more information on the services they provide.  Service dogs permissable by State Law and good behavior.

Unfortunately, our historic home does not have an elevator and most of our rooms require stairs and have bathtubs. Please call us if you have any questions about our rooms.

We offer local air conditioning units in each room of our home from May through October. If you would like a fan in your room, please let us know.

  • There are no added fees applied to your rate.
  • Tax is 11 percent (six percent to the state and five percent to the town of New Hope)for your room reservation.
  • Familiarize yourself with the cancellation policy included in FAQ’s and within your reservation agreement. 
  • A $30 Day Pass can  be added to your reservation for up to two guests which will allow you to have friends or collegues use our common areas and the conveniences of the Inn for the day. A Day Pass guest can enjoy breakfast, non-alcholic beverages like coffee, tea and soda, relax in the Sunny Reception Area, Parlor/Living Room, and enjoy the rooftop deck.  In the afternoon, grab a cookie or two. Day Pass guests can plug in and use Wi-Fi in our common areas.  Guests can use our bike rack to secure their bikes for the day.  The Day Pass allows use of the Inn from 8am to 5pm. Day Pass guests do not have access to the lodging areas of the Inn, nor does a Day Pass allow for vehicle parking. Day pass policies are further explained at booking or give us a call if you have questions.
  • An Olivia’s Day Pass can be added to your stay or purchased individually on our website. 
  • $30/person/day: Wi-Fi, Electronic charging, Coffee, Tea, Soda, Breakfast, Cookies, Use of Sunny Reception or Dining Room for working quietly or meeting a person for a short informal meeting, use of morning patio, use of bike rack, use of Roof Deck for relaxing or a New Hope picnic spot for up to 5 Olivia’s Day Pass and/or lodging guests between 11am and 3pm daily.
  • Olivia’s Bridge Street Inn has the ability to rent space out for events so some restrictions may apply based on reservations.
  • Day passes availabe daily for use of common areas between 8-5pm (time restrictions for space may apply, for example, Sunny Reception available to lodging guests and Day Pass breakfast use from 8am to 11am.)

The Covid 19 Pandemic and government shut down was something we never thought would happen. What we learned is that we want more than anything to be able to stay in business when an incident of this magnitude happens. We are unable to accommodate refunds on your reservation. We will work with you to move your reservation to within two years of reopening, or your reservation, whichever is later.
